Peter Broome is a project manager and agile coach with 34 years of experience. Throughout his professional journey, Peter has successfully led and managed numerous software development teams, leaving his mark on 34 companies, including industry giants such as Starbucks, Pfizer, General Electric, and Toyota. He is a natural leader and savvy business strategist.  

He pioneered project management through his invention of the Agile Triangle. This innovative model effectively communicates the key practice areas of Agile Software Development: Product Definition, Delivery Framework, and Engineering Practices. 

Among his notable achievements in his work are propelling a business to $30 million in revenue within a remarkable 18 months, creating one of the first WCMs Web Content Management system, scaling teams, and redesigning company websites.  

Currently he is serving as Scrum Master and Agile Coach at Starbucks since February 2023. He oversees the implementation of Scrum for a new ESG team. And he develops executive dashboards for various aspects of Starbucks’ business operations. 

Peter’s track record is a testament to his exceptional ability to build relationships across multi-functional teams, catering seamlessly to executives and software developers alike. His dynamic skillset includes SCRUM, Agile Practices, Risk Management, and Relational Databases.   

He graduated in 1988 from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.
